Vice President JD Vance’s ties to the far-right have been well-reported—from writing a promotional blurb in a book from Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec (who has mocked the Holocaust and repeatedly used the neo-Nazi “1488” dogwhistle) to his reported friendship with neo-monarchist Curtis Yarvin (who has written that there’s “nothing wrong with a military coup" and “jokingly” advocated converting the poor of San Francisco into biodiesel). Vance’s far-right connections on X (formerly known as Twitter), however, have been less well-covered.
The Vice President started following Yarvin on X in April 2025, but this activity is not an outlier, Decoherence Media has found. Besides Yarvin and alleged sex trafficker Andrew Tate, J.D. Vance follows several far-right or antisemitic accounts on X—ranging from influential voices in the “new-right” like Bronze Age Pervert, to smaller operations like Rogue Scholar Press, an independent publisher that publishes books by fascist and proto-fascist authors.
Yarvin and Tate are public figures, but many of the accounts followed by Vance are pseudonymous and lack any public profile beyond their activity on X.
Who does J.D. Vance follow?
Decoherence Media did not analyze all 1,148 accounts that Vance follows, focusing instead on 8 accounts that have posted neo-Nazi, fascist, antisemitic, or otherwise far-right content.
Most of these accounts eschew conventional white supremacist rhetoric, opting instead for irony and trolling. They are more likely to make jokes referencing Holocaust denial talking points, or mock the veneration of the Holocaust “narrative” in Western society, than engage in outright Holocaust denial. Some employ their rhetoric under the guise of “shock humor,” while others attempt a scholarly and professorial tone.
Based on X search data, Decoherence Media found that JD Vance directly interacted with two of these accounts (quote-posting FischerKing and Lomez).
Raw Egg Nationalist

“Raw Egg Nationalist,” the pseudonym of British far-right fitness influencer Charles Cornish-Dale, has been followed by Vance since before the 2024 election. The account blends fitness and diet content with far-right themes, recently posting that “mass migration to Britain is a demographic catastrophe on par with the Black Death.” Elsewhere, he has posted memes of Adolf Hitler and favorably quoted “Mein Kampf.”

Crémieux

“Crémieux,” the pseudonymous account of Jordan Lasker, who the Atlantic has described as a race-science blogger, also enjoys a follow from Vance. Reporting by Mother Jones revealed that Lasker ran the Reddit account “Faliceer,” where he self-identified as “Jewish and a National Socialist.” Under the “Crémieux” pseudonym, he has shown a consistent preoccupation with a purported link between race and IQ, recently stating, “We know blacks tend to be less intelligent. This is extremely well-replicated.” Under his own name, Lasker has co-authored papers such as "Racial and ethnic group differences in the heritability of intelligence” in the journal “Intelligence.”

FischerKing

“FischerKing” has praised Spanish dictator Francisco Franco and expressed dissatisfaction with having Jewish followers. He has also lamented that the reputation of the Waffen SS was “tarnished” by the activities of camp SS units. His follow from J.D. Vance predates the 2024 election.
The account’s name and profile come from chess grandmaster Bobby Fischer, who is quoted and sometimes used as a dogwhistle by the far-right because of his antisemitism (despite his own Jewish heritage).

On July 15, 2024, FischerKing plainly stated, “I wanted JD vance because he follows me and RT’d me a couple times.” X’s search function showed one instance of Vance quote-posting FischerKing: a February 2024 post criticizing the New York business fraud lawsuit against the Trump Organization.

Bronze Age Pervert

Vance’s follow of “Bronze Age Pervert,” the pseudonym of writer Costin Alamariu, predates the 2024 election. Bronze Age Pervert has an online presence going back to at least 2010, making him one of the longest-running users of “Frogtwitter,” the alt-right community which used the “Pepe the Frog” meme as a mascot. He has expressed support for eugenics, stating that he favors “mandatory abortion” in cases of birth defects and parents with below-average IQ. In 2021, he claimed to believe in “rule by a military caste of men who would be able to guide society toward a morality of eugenics.”
Alamariu’s influence in Washington DC isn’t limited to Vance: a former speechwriter for Ron DeSantis said in a 2022 interview that “every junior staffer in the Trump administration” read his book, “Bronze Age Mindset.”
In a 2021 essay titled “Communittar Fools,” Alamariu wrote “I believe in Fascism or ‘something worse,’” and in a 2015 tweet from his previous now-suspended account, he described himself as “a fascist.” He also referred to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using a racial epithet and suggested fundraising for “a few camwhores to urinate on his image.”

HowlingMutant

Of the accounts we are identifying, the most recent of Vance’s far-right follows is “HowlingMutant,” a pseudonymous far-right online personality with a long record of misogynistic, antisemitic, and racist comments. Since earning a follow from Vance, HowlingMutant has used the word “nigga” 23 times and wrote, “You should not be mad at the Jews for crucifying Jesus…there are so many other things to be mad at them for.” He has also made jokes referencing Holocaust denial talking points, like “wooden doors.”
Prior to earning the follow from Vance, one of HowlingMutant’s most widely circulated posts stated: “But we do exist. Thousands upon thousands of men descended from rapists. And we all want sex. And sooner or later, we’re going to stop asking nicely.”

Second City Bureaucrat

The Chicago-based “Second City Bureaucrat” has had a follow from Vance since at least June 2025. Posts are replete with antisemitic references like “ZOG” and “goyslop.” A 2023 post read, “Yeah, Schmuley, I'm trying to get people to support Israel by pointing out that Soros was more afraid of Iran. Your posts stink of hummus.”
Second City Bureaucrat noticed his follow from Vance and bragged in a June 2025 reply, “JD Vance follows me. YOu mad?”

Lomez

Identified as former University of California, Irvine lecturer Jonathan Keeperman in 2024, “Lomez” is the CEO of the far-right publishing company Foundation Publishing Group. On his X account, Keeperman complained that you couldn’t “ask any questions” about 6 million Jews dying in the Holocaust, and advocated for killing journalists (“lamppost the journos”). His follow from Vance predates the 2024 election.
In the immediate aftermath of Vance’s nomination as Trump’s running mate, Lomez quipped, “Anyone who doubted JD Vance (my mutual btw) is going straight to Gitmo.”

X’s search function showed one instance in November 2021—while Vance was running for the Ohio Senate seat—where he quote-posted Lomez calling Microsoft employees “bugmen” for stating their ethnicity and hairstyle when introducing themselves. The original post no longer exists and the URL was excluded from the Wayback Machine, but a snapshot is available on archive.today.

Rogue Scholar Press

Rogue Scholar Press specializes in publishing out-of-print far-right literature, including French fascist writer and Nazi collaborationist Pierre Drieu La Rochelle and Italian proto-fascist Gabriele D'Annunzio. It is run by the pseudonymous “Semmelweis” who has described Adolf Hitler as “the lesser evil” in World War II and wrote, “Blacks offing each other at astronomical rates does not lessen their threat to whites.”

Vance’s far-right rhetoric spreads beyond X
In at least one case, a far-right account followed by Vance claimed to have influenced his public statements.
During the final months of the 2024 presidential election, Vance repeatedly defended the discredited conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants were eating cats and dogs in Springfield, Ohio. A Hitler-quoting account with username “Captivedreamer7,” who had a follow from Vance before losing his account, wrote on Election Day that one of his posts “put the whole situation back onto JD Vance's radar.”
Gil Duran, an independent journalist and author of forthcoming book "The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy," told Decoherence Media that “one way [Vance] expresses his radicalism is by using his power to amplify and legitimize other extremists and racists by following them on social media,” and that “It's no surprise that the vice president of the United States is following Nazis and racists on social media. It allows him to say aloud who he really is—without saying a word.”
Some far-right accounts have still received attention from Vance despite not earning a follow. In February 2025, Vance responded to a critique of his Munich Security Conference speech by the anonymous X account, “eugyppius1,” who has described Arab immigrants as “not only incompatible with but inferior and detrimental to european life and culture.”
Responding to eugyppius1’s claim that the speech was “intended for an American audience,” Vance said that the speech was intended to remind “both our American and European friends that we have an admin biased towards open debate and expression.” Eugyppius1 replied with, “thanks for reply mr vice president” and his followers celebrated. Responses to eugypius1’s reply from his followers included “Holy fucking shit,” “I can’t believe this just happened,” and “This is awesome. Congrats friend you are officially a diplomat.”
“It’s really funny when you realise, you have a direct line to the vp’s eyeball,” X user WethopPeele responded. “He is paying attention.”
At time of publication, neither the Office of the Vice President nor the Press Secretary to the Vice President responded to Decoherence Media’s request for comment.
